I had a bit of a sleep in this morning – I didn’t get up until after 8.00!\u00a0 I went downstairs for breakfast and had no idea what it was on the counter defrosting… Mio had told me yesterday that there was a surprise for dinner, but she wouldn’t tell me what it was.\u00a0 This was it.\u00a0 It’s apparently the legs of a type of crab – Tarabagani.\u00a0 It’s apparently very expencive and delicious – I’ll find out later tonight!<\/p>\n
After breakfast I just did a bit of work.\u00a0 Kaoru went to the dentist, so I took the opportunity to catch up on a number of things.\u00a0 Arisa went to school not long after she got back, and then Mio, ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.travlindaz.codersoft.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/2017-03-25-15.11.45-300x225.jpg\")
Kaoru and I went for lunch.\u00a0 It was about a 15 minute walk, which was great for stretching the legs.\u00a0 Once we found a restaurant which had taco rice, I was sold.\u00a0 Delicious!<\/p>\n
We walked back home and I had a beer, as we passed the afternoon.\u00a0 Yoichi got home from work about 3.\u00a0 I was feeling sleepy so went for a “half hour power nap”.\u00a0 Next thing I knew it was nearly 6.00!\u00a0 I guess these early mornings had caught up with me.<\/p>\n
Not long after I went downstairs, another course arrived…![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.travlindaz.codersoft.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/2017-03-25-17.22.22-300x225.jpg\")
<\/p>\n
Kenichi, Kozue, Yukari and Minami arrived shortly after that.\u00a0 Minami had grown so much in the last 18 months!\u00a0 We sat down and ate another delicious meal.\u00a0 After an hour or so we had to clear some room from the table as some large sushi plates had arrived, and they needed to fit on too.<\/p>\n
Yoichi arrived home with Arisa a bit after 8.\u00a0 And Mio’s friend Tomako(??) turned up.\u00a0 I had met her on a p![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.travlindaz.codersoft.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/2017-03-26-01.43.00-e1490521145924-225x300.jpg\")
revious visit.\u00a0 The kids played upstairs for the night, as we all caught up, and did the usual things that happen at “Mio’s Bar”.\u00a0 Everybody left around midnight, full and content.\u00a0 Too full, in fact, if you look closely at this picture and see what was left at the end of the night!<\/p>\n
