Today it was off to brisbane airport to join Kaoru in Japan. I put my frequent flyer points to use and went business class! On the approach to Narita we were advised it was 17 degrees.\u00a0 And here I was in shorts, expecting it to be hot, based on talks with Kaoru.\u00a0 I was going to get changed (I had a long sleeve top and long pants in my carry on bag) but opted against it.\u00a0 Eventually I landed at Narita. Immigration wasn&#8217;t too bad and I managed to buy a bus ticket with 15 minutes to spare- time enough to buy a beer for the bus ride! And boy was it needed!\u00a0 17 at night with high humidity is nothing like 17 in Melbourne!\u00a0 It was very muggy so not too comfortable, but I&#8217;m glad I didn&#8217;t get changed on the flight!\u00a0 It was a bit over an hour to Cerulean tower hotel, where Kaoru and Mio were waiting for me. We then went to Mio&#8217;s house and had a drink with youichi.
