Well, Saturday night was our annual Euroa Skydivers Reunion.\u00a0 Lunch, dinner, and plenty of drinks at the Pier Lounge in Altona.\u00a0 After finishing off at Nick\u2019s, Yarra took me to the airport, for my next journey.<\/p>\n
The plane left 10 minutes early, so we started taxi-ing at 11:55pm Saturday night.\u00a0 I attempted to get some sleep, and after a light breakfast, I landed at Singapore airport, for a 3 hour layover.\u00a0 As I had the time, I stopped and had a foot massage, to get the blood flowing again after sitting for so long.<\/p>\n
I managed to get an hours sleep at the airport, and get some work done.\u00a0 Finally it was time to fly out to Narita.\u00a0 I was entertained with Mission: Impossible, and a bit of *trying<\/strong>* to remember what Japanese I had learnt (not much!)\u00a0 Our first landing approach got aborted, as an outgoing plane had a \u201cmedical emergency\u201d so didn\u2019t take off!\u00a0 Finally we landed.<\/p>\n Immigration was amazing \u2013 no other planes had landed, and because I power-walked from the plane, there were only about 10 people in front of me!\u00a0 So, didn\u2019t take long at all, considering last time I was there it was about a 30 minute wait.\u00a0 Eventually my bag arrived, and I got through the doors, were Kaoru was waiting for me.<\/p>\n We caught the bus to Terminal 2, as Jack was arriving in about 45 minutes.\u00a0 Unfortunately his plane was delayed by 40 minutes, and we decided as he had been to Japan before, he knows his way around, so we\u2019d just head to Shinagawa.\u00a0 So we got on the Narita Express.\u00a0 After checking in we found Brett, Mark, Ange, Mikiko and Dai-san in the restaurant downstairs, so ate and caught up.<\/p>\n As we left the restaurant, Jack arrived.\u00a0 So Mikiko, Brett, Kaoru and I kept him company, as we went to a 24 hour restaurant around the corner.\u00a0 It was one I hadn\u2019t eaten at before, and it\u2019s always good going somewhere new.\u00a0 But as we had all done a bit of travelling, we were ready to call it a night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Well, Saturday night was our annual Euroa Skydivers Reunion.\u00a0 Lunch, dinner, and plenty of drinks at the Pier Lounge in Altona.\u00a0 After finishing off at Nick\u2019s, Yarra took me to the airport, for my next journey.
